Data Deletion

1. Introduction
Quotae allows you to request the complete deletion of your account and all associated data. You can do this directly from the app or by contacting us via email. For details on what data we collect and how we process it, see our Privacy Policy.
2. Option 1: From the app
To delete your account and data from the Quotae app:
- Open Quotae on your device.
- Go to Settings (gear icon).
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion.
Your account and all associated data will be deleted immediately.
3. Option 2: By email
If you cannot access the app, send an email to use@quotae.app with the subject "Data deletion request" from the email address registered on your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
4. Data that is deleted
When you request account deletion, we delete the following data:
- Account data (email, name)
- Business profile (tax ID, address, logo)
- Quotes and invoices
- Line items
- Stored PDF files (Cloudflare R2)
- Company logo
- Client database
- Materials and services catalog
- Notifications
- Push notification tokens
- Authentication sessions
- Export jobs
- Polar customer record
5. Data that is retained
Some data is retained due to legal obligations or its anonymous nature:
- Billing records: retained for 5 years under Spanish tax law (Ley 58/2003 General Tributaria).
- Anonymized analytics data: events collected by Vexo and Sentry reports are already anonymized and cannot be linked back to your account.
6. Deletion timelines
- Account data: deleted immediately upon confirmation.
- Cloud files (PDFs, logos): purged from Cloudflare R2 within 30 days.
- Polar record: deleted immediately (best-effort).
- Billing records: retained for 5 years per legal obligation.
